A quick photo dump from my spring term Ge136. A big drive out to Utah and Northern Arizona from Caltech for a long weekend, but totally worth it for the scenery!

The patterns in the Navajo Sandstone that makes up the spectacular rocks in Zion National Park are the remains of a sea of sand dunes that covered the central US during the Jurassic.
