The summer after my sophomore year at MIT, I participated in a program called MISTI where students are funded to work at an internship or do research for the summer in a foreign country. I decided to go to Spain, and after struggling through a semester of Spanish, I left to work at the University of Salamanca with Antonio Alvarez-Valero for the summer. Throughout my research and travels that summer, I wrote a series of blog posts here. The posts focus more on my travels since the target audience included my grandparents, but they provide a nice snapshot of my life that summer.
